The city of Shanghai is one of the world's great financial centres.  The main financial district is called Pudong which is situated on the east side of the Huangpu River.  It is home to the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the breathtaking Oriental Pearl TV tower and hundreds of architecturally attractive buildings and towers. 

Pudong has some wonderful urban parks, including a riverside pedestrian walkway that features breathtaking views of Shanghai's historical "Bund" district.
