The Shanghai Municipal History Museum is located in the basement of Shanghai's landmark Oriental TV Tower.  It focuses on the pre-revolution and colonial period of Shanghai's history.

Visitors can enjoy the view from atop the Oriental TV tower and visit the museum directly afterwards.
